The mighty Santa Fe Northern 3751 made a run over Highland Pacific Railroad trackage under a mutual benefit agreement. The most famous locomotive in the Los Angeles area was on the point of Rey Castillo’s San Diegan.

While presently incomplete, Rey is building his San Diegan to replicate the pre-Amtrak days of the Los Angeles to San Diego trains. Earlier in the club’s run night, Rey had pulled the train with a set of sound-equipped, Warbonnet F7s.
